Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bonnie and Clyde. These Great Pyrenees are litter-mates and are three years old. They are current on their shots and are spayed and neutered. Their job has been as watchdogs and they live on the property of an electrical business in the neighborhood. The owners have an electrified fence but they are not effective for most Great Pyrenees. They are constantly escaping and because one of the neighbors threatened the dogs with bodily harm, they have been living in an 8’ x 12’ kennel with a dog house for the past two years.
A good hearted neighbor has offered as much help as she can and has brought Clyde into her house. He hasn’t had an accident so it appears that he is house-trained. This kind neighbor wishes she could adopt them both but can’t take on any more pets. She has spent more time with Clyde because she has cats and a female Pyr and doesn’t know how the girls and cats would get along.
I’m told these two sweet Pyrs are “wonderful” and “great.” Clyde likes to snuggle in front of the fireplace; Bonnie snorts like a pig and gives big kisses. As you can see in the photo, both smile happy smiles.
These sweet Pyrs need and deserve to have a family who will care for and love them and who will be cared by and loved by them.
