Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hershey is a 12 year old Chihuahua mix that I adopted last year when he was 11. he's an EXTREMELY sweet boy and I'm really struggling with the decision to re-home him. he's a lap dog for sure, and always wants to chill out on the couch or in bed with you. he does love to run though, so he'll need a fenced yard or a long tie-out. he loves sunbathing as well.
his only problem is his anxiety- which causes him to act aggressive. he's never bitten, but will growl or bark when he feels threatened or feels like his human is threatened. he needs an owner who will set boundaries around this and is firm but gentle. he is on trazodone and solliquin, continuing that is a personal choice.
good with other dogs (according to the shelter, I think dogs around his size will be best), cats, and kids 10+ who will respect his space. will do best with a female "main" or "alpha" owner, and warms up to men with a bit of time. he really just needs a quiet, calm, loving household.
