Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brie is a quiet and gentle Jindo mix girl who came to us all the way from Korea in search of the perfect forever family. She is fully grown, weighs 31 pounds, and has a soft medim-length coat. Brie is a very sweet and playful girl but shy at first so we are looking for a patient forever family to help her blossom.
*Breed: Jindo mix, spayed
*Age: 1 year and 4 months (DOB: July 2021, estimated) Fully grown
*Weight: 31 pounds
*Coat: Soft & Medium length, moderate shedding. Grooming 1~2/week recommended
*Medical History: Fully vetted, up to date with all vaccines including Rabies and DHPPL, and received wellness exam on 10/14. No past illness or medical condition, and has a clean bill of health. Currently on heartworm, tick & flea prevention
*House Training: She is fully house trained and had accidents a few times during the first few days while adjusting. She has not had any accidents since she learned her routine.
*Behavioral issue: No behavioral issues observed.
*Temperaments: Brie is a gentle soul but can be viewed as very shy at first. She rarely barks and very quiet. She wants to be always near her humans and loves to play.
*Energy level: Moderate. She likes to walk about a mile once a day.
*Socialization: Brie gets along very well with all-sized of dogs and we feel she will be great in a home with a canine companion to help her build confidence. At current foster's home, she loves playing with other dogs, both small and medium size. She loves all kinds of toys and will bring them to her humans and asks to play with her. Whenever she is not playing with her favorite toys, she would sit by your side quietly while you work, watch TV and read books. She has not been tested with cats.
*Rescue Story: She was rescued at a park along with other siblings when she was about 2 months old. She has lived in a shelter ever since.
*Current Location: Brie is being fostered in Longmont, CO. Please note we do not transport our dogs and the adopter will be expected to come to the foster location for meet-and-greet and adoption. We will give priority to a family within 50 miles of Boulder.
*Ideal Home: Although not a requirement, we feel Brie will thrive in a home with a secure backyard to learn and gain her confidence in. Brie has not been tested with young children and would be best in a home without young children as sudden movements such as rushing or grabbing would make her too scared and nervous. She prefers to sleep in a kennel and likes to go into the kennel whenever she wants to rest and thinks that's her safe place.
Brie is timid and we are hoping to find a patient family who is willing to help with training and socialization. But once she opens up, she wants all the attention from her humans and will never leave her humans' side.
