Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Solomon is a brindle Chi mix that came to Saving Hope from a horrible breeder dumping environment where he was never touched or felt love. He huddled in the back of his crate for days, only coming out when he was alone. It was weeks before he let his foster mom pet him and even longer for others. After a few months under the care of Saving Hope, Solomon is a different boy and ready for his own family. He still has some fears and may bark at new people until he trusts, so he will need an adopter that understands his fears and will work to gain his trust. He gets along with other dogs, but has never been around cats or kids. Solomon is crate trained and potty trained, but will forget his manners on occasion. He is 3 years old so he’s still in the mischievous puppy stage. He can’t read, but that doesn’t keep him from eating your magazine. He weighs 22 lbs which isn’t too big or too small, but just right.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
