My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

One day while on my way to work I saw something in the road. It was spinning in circles, and I thought it was a squirrel. But as I got closer, I realized it was a kitten! I was afraid it was hurt or would get hit by a car, so I turned around to help him. He was very scared but let me pick him up grateful to be recused. Fortunately, he was uninjured and guess he had fallen out from underneath a car. When I think about the series of events that had to occur for me to find him, I knew this was a special kitten!
I brought him home and he fit in right away. At first, he would dart in and out from under the bed but would still let me pet him.
Now that he was safe, he had a bath, a meal, and a good night’s sleep.
Widget is such a cuddle bug! He is very affectionate and gentle, and he loves to be around his people. He has been introduced to my other cats and my small dog and he loves them all! And when he talks, he wrinkles his nose which is so cute!
Widget is a gray tabby domestic shorthair. He has big eyes and is very alert. He his friends with his foster mates, Daisy & Bodhi.
Widget loves to be near you. He loves to be pet and will reach out and gently touch your nose. He likes to play and is very active. He doesn’t really have a favorite toy but loves fuzzy mice! He is also fond of popular, if unconventional, toys such as empty paper towel rolls and bottle caps.
We have a small dog that he loves to play with and is very comfortable around her and considers himself part of her pack! He would do very well in a multi animal household.
Widget also likes to climb and would love a cat tree to play on.
When he’s not playing or eating or sleeping Widget enjoys cuddling and making biscuits on you. You can tell when he gets sleepy because he will follow you like he wants you to comfort him and put him to bed!
