Tippy was found in someone’s front yard, curled up next to a car, in the warm sun, after her very frail body could not keep going. Once someone’s dog, with a collar that was double the size of her neck meant for her former healthy self, she was desperate for the help of humans. Like 99.5% of strays, Tippy soon ended up in a shelter with a timestamp. I pulled this sweet girl and her amazing foster mama immediately stepped up.
Tippy's foster mom had to work to get Tippy healthy with slow and steady feedings and vet care. Tippy has now been vaccinated and spayed. Tippy is being fostered with kids and other small dogs. She has done wonderfully with both and already knows basic commands. She even goes to the door and cries to be let out for potty.
We think Tippy is no more than 2 years old. This sweet, sweet girl likes to give a kiss after every good thing she does. She keeps her most prized stuffed animals close so she can care for them. Tippy would be just an amazing addition to any family. Please consider opening your home to this precious girl. Her sweetness will melt you!
