My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey all! My name is Henry. I am a 5-year-old, gray, neutered male. I am up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative and started on preventative. I was rescued from an Amish breeder out of Ohio with five other Weims. I first want to thank LWR and GLWR for rescuing us, along with Dr. Burroughs for her wonderful care. I am now learning to be a dog. Since I lived in a barn my entire life until arriving at my foster home, I didn’t know what a dog bed was. I do now! I also have learned to play with toys. I am best friends with my Weim foster sister. Since I have always been with another dog, I would like to have another dog in my forever home. I am not sure what a cat is, and I haven ‘t been around small children. My foster dad reports that I have a wonderful disposition and very loving. I will go in a crate but will bark. My ideal forever home would be with someone that is home most of the time. I do know how to go out the doggy door and I love to be outside laying in the yard and on the deck. Since I have lived in a barn my whole life I could go to the bathroom anywhere I wanted so I am learning that I can’t do this now inside the house. I am progressing but will need someone to be patient as I will make mistakes at first, but I learn quickly. I will give you loads of love and be very loyal to the family. I also love to travel with my foster dad and sometimes I get to go to work with him.
