Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This adorable and uniquely colored girl is "Chelsea" She and her siblings were found dumped in a field in Texas. Because nothing is known about their past, we can only guess at their breed make-up. Currently the puppies are estimated at 4.5 months old and range between 15-20lbs. Full size they will likely be 35-45lbs. They are a mixed breed with features that might indicate Shepherd, Kelpie, Min PIn, Border Collie and Cattle Dog. All are people and dog friendly. Cats we are not sure about but suspect they would do fine.
Chelsea is an active girl who loves playtime. She is a little nervous of new people at first but getting better there and warms up quick - especially for a treat! She is crate trained and has had no accidents in her foster home. Her foster mom does work from home and can let her out every few hours so a similar set up in her new home would be ideal. Chelsea is not fully leash trained (working on it) so a contained yard is preferred for her. Kids 5 and up best.
If you think Chelsea could be a great fit for you, please send an inquiry through AdoptAPet or email us at compassdogrescue@gmail.com to start the application process. Chelsea is vaccinated for rabies, distemper, parvo, bordetella and leptosporosis. She is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention and microchipped. She is too young to spay (done at 6 months) so that would be the adopter's responsibility. We have a reduced adoption fee for the pups which takes that into consideration!
