Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barks and Meows Rescue introduces an adorable pair of Morkie sisters, Annabelle and Belle. They are true sisters who are extremely bonded to each other. They are 7 1/2 years old. Annabelle is the larger one weighing 15lb and Belle weighs 10. They are owner surrenders due to the owner's passing. Annabelle and Belle were surrendered to us Oct 29. Their original owner passed away and the caretaker of the dogs was going to euthanize them since their owner had no family and left no provisions. A wonderful Samaritan offered to take them until she could find them a good home. 3 months later, that Samaritan contacted Barks and Meows Rescue to ask if we could take them. She has provided us with information about the,: They are currently eating Hills Science small breed Healthy Mobility. They are so bonded they want to share the same bowl. The girls are highly bonded and do everything together. They do not leave each other's side. Having said that they are very social with wonderful gentle temperaments. They currently live with dogs and cats and are great with them. They are very good with the children they have met that were 6 years old and up. They have a crate and will sleep in it or on the Samaritan's bed. They eat in the crate. They ride well in a vehicle in a crate or without. They are good babies in the bathtub. They are quiet and not nippy at all. There were no medical records but they had rabies tags. We contacted the vet clinic and found out about their birthday and that they had been spayed. The only vaccines they ever received were rabies and they are due now again for the rabies vaccination. The girl's original owner was ill. They never left the inside of the house for two years. They were very overweight when the Samaritan took them into her care. They now have lost a substantial amount of weight which is great news. They will bark when they have to go outside to relieve themselves and are also pee pad trained. They love going for walks and enjoy running through the crunch fall leaves. They are an absolutely adorable pair and it is mandatory that they stay together forever. The ideal home is one where the family members are home a lot as they do enjoy the company. They will snuggle and bed with the family so that would be ideal. They love playing and exploring in the backyards. As they enjoy getting out and going for walks, the family should be able to accommodate this twice daily. They will come with their toys, crate, collars, bowls, and leashes. They will be ready to go to their new home on Nov 4. The girls are spayed, 4dx tested negative, up to date with vaccines and Belle has had a full dental and now has no teeth left. She still eats very well. A fully fenced yard and a Veterinarian History of Compliance are mandatory to apply to adopt this darling duo. The adoption fee for this pair is $700.
