Adorable Rikki had a tough start when she came to Chi Town Rescue. She was brought into a vet's office because she broke her front leg and she was already missing one leg and the finders wanted her euthanized. Fortunately, the owner of the rescue was also at the vet's office and got the finders to surrender Rikki to her. Rikki had a cast put on her broken leg to try and save it versus amputation and it was a success!! She is now ready for her furever home.
Rikki is such a loveable dog that wants nothing more than to curl up in a lap and give tons of kisses. She's such a happy girl and gets along well on her three legs. She gets along well with the other rescue dogs and she does like to play with toys. She's a petite lady weighing 6 pounds. She's very quiet and rarely barks. She enjoys her treats too; Nubz are her favorites.
If you're looking for a loveable little girl to keep you company, then come and meet Rikki at Chi Town Rescue. Rikki can go to a home with other dogs, however, they need to be dogs that aren't too energetic. She can go to a home with older children that understand that her front leg will always be tender. Contact Chi Town Rescue to meet happy little Rikki to see if she's the dog for you!
