My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Licorice was picked up by animal control as a stray. He looks like a pit bull, mixed with something like rottweiler. Licorice is very reactive to other dogs and to cats, but an experienced handler did not have trouble re-directing his attention. Once removed from the other animals, he really surprised us with his nice behavior. He enjoys human attention and was very calm during his entire vet exam. He needs an adopter with some experience, willing to work with him in a group obedience class on his behavior around other animals. No children under 12, please. Potential adopters will need to discuss his skin issues with our veterinarian.
