Toy Chihuahua, Penny Lane
True animal lovers are always shocked to discover that they have friends and coworkers that can actually distance their emotion from their pets and send them to a county shelter where there is some uncertainty that they will find a new home.
Community Animal Network recognizes the difference in peoples’ commitment between those that choose to apply to adopt an animal and pay and those that acquire animals from others for free.
Penny Lane’s rescuer took her from a coworker after discovering the dog was in the car and the county shelter was on their way to pick her up. The coworker excused her behavior saying it wasn’t really her dog and that she got it from someone else.
Upon health exam, a heart murmur was discovered and the two year old Penny Lane will need further testing to determine the severity. Apparently, the previous owner had no idea of a medical condition.
The tiny toy Chihuahua is very sweet. She gives kisses and prefers to be sitting on your lap.
