My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Maxine from the Lancaster animal shelter in July 2022. She was 7 months old and knew basic commands like sit. She was very friendly during our first meeting, and that has remained true since we’ve brought her home. She is full of energy and loves to chase after just about anything.

Max recently got out of our fenced backyard (accidentally) and chased after - and bit - another dog that was walking nearby. While we have never seen this behavior from her in the past, with two young children at home, keeping her is not feasible. She would do well in a home where she’s the only dog OR adopted with her buddy, Meechum.
