My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Langston is a pup at heart. He loves to be cuddled and pet. He is a gorgeous boy, tall and muscular. He is great on a leash and free roam. Langston has done well with other dogs he has been in play yard with. Only once did he have an issue. It was an unaltered male and Langston was growling at him and he was growling at Langston. To be safe, best to keep him away from unaltered males. Also since he is an adult, best to supervise any first meetings. We have not had him around cats but would not let him be loose around them until it is known how he reacts. He loves chew toys, bones rawhides etc. Langston rides well in a car. He is loving and sweet and will be a great companion. We advise that care be taken on first meetings with new dogs, particularly unaltered males. He should not be near cats, small animals until it is known how he does with them.

Those wanting to adopt must fill out contract and be approved. Form will be made available after initial contact. Adoption fees are based on any transport costs.

Morning Meadow Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization. We operate on donations. Our mission is to help neglected and abused animals find a lifetime home through adoption. MMAR also educates about animal care and the importance of spay/neuter. MMAR provides care and shelter to animals until they can be adopted. We participate in transports to all areas of the country. There is a great need in our area for a rescue since there are no options but a kill shelter.
