My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mickey is ready to find his forever home! He is being fostered in Chattanooga, TN. He is an Aussie/Heeler/Terrier blend who is 16 weeks old.

Mickey is Mr. Adventure who loves to climb boulders, scale embankments, and jump over logs. He already knows how to sit and is crate trained. He uses the puppy pad consistently but prefers to go outside, so he should be easy to house train. He's great around people and other dogs. He hasn't had a chance to interact with children or cats.

The vet estimates he'll be 40-50 pounds when fully grown. He's very vocal and needs to work on his 'inside voice'. He has started to counter-surf, so keep things out of reach until that behavior is corrected. He's smart and high-energy, so he needs a home where he can be active - he will make a great companion for a runner or hiker.

Mickey is current on vaccinations and is just awaiting one more round. He is microchipped and has been started on heartworm prevention.
Along with Mickey's adoption fee, there is a $50 neuter deposit which will be refunded at the time of his neuter which should be done around 6 months of age. A spay/neuter contract will also be required.

Mickey's brother, Skippy is also available for adoption.
