My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oaklie came to us with no hair and horrible skin infections. All the infections have been cleared up, he is allergic to many foods and must remain on a special diet. He is very sweet and loves to rub all over his human. Some of his hair has grown back and we hope that more will continue to grow in the future.

He has fairly high energy and a rough play style with other dogs.

Go meet their pets

Our available pets can always be viewed on our FaceBook page under the Photo Album titled "available dogs and birds".

All events that we participate in will be shown on our web site. We are in desperate need of volunteers in order to be able to attend events.

If you see a pet that you are interested in, please contact us for more information. Most of our animals are located in Citrus County.

More about this rescue

We are a permanent placement sanctuary that rescues animals that are in need of medical or emotional care; retraining those that need it; seniors who need a safe and loving place; abused and neglected animals that need so much help and love, or any that just need a loving environment that gives them the physical and emotional support to become whole again.

Normally, we Do Not Adopt out our animals unless young or healthy, instead we offer a Forever Foster Program and our Seniors Helping Seniors Forever Foster Program.

If you are interested in becoming a foster or want information on our programs please message us or call. If you are able to volunteer, we would love to hear from you too.
