Clash is an absolutely adorable and fun loving puppy! This almost 4 month old, 21 pound boy will sure steal your heart with his zest for life! He greets everyone like they are his favorite person in the world, and he gives the best kisses. He LOVES to run in the backyard and play with other dogs and toys. Clash is crate trained, sleeps through the night, walks well on a secure harness, and is working on his potty training. Clash enjoys his meals from a snuffle mat or treat dispensing ball he rolls around the floor. And he loves sleeping cuddled up with his teddy bear.
Clash is believed to be a double merle Catahoula puppy who was rescued from a shelter in Tennessee (likely a Catahoula breeder relinquished him). Clash is learning hand signals due to a hearing impairment. He definitely has some hearing, but it hasn’t been reliable enough for us to communicate with him using only verbal cues. He can also sometimes get startled by noises and confused about where they are coming from. Clash has great vision in his left eye, but since he has an underdeveloped right eye, his night vision is a little off causing him to sometimes shy away from shadows. Clash is so smart though and truly his minor hearing and vision impairments are not holding him back at all!
Clash would do best with a family of adults or older kids. Like any puppy his age, he will need potty and exercise breaks about every three hours and needs to continue his socialization. Clash would do best with an active family who will provide him with sufficient exercise and mental stimulation. He would also love a fenced-in backyard and a large-breed dog as a playmate. No prior experience with hand signals is required as long as the family is willing to learn. If you live in the Orlando area and feel you have the time and love to provide Clash with a furever home please send in an application and let us know more about your family.
