Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Danielle. This sweet girl came to Catmandu with her 3 other siblings and they have had our hearts ever since. This group can best be described as an energetic one. All the siblings LOVE to play. The way to their hearts is simple, you'll need two things; a laser light and a pole with a string on it. They are funny cats that will keep ypou entertained for hours. Some siblings are more human-friendly than the others. Danielle is improving every day. Their brother Chuck is a more on the shy-side and the other two sisters Natalie and Blaire have been adopted. Come meet this crazy trio today!

Then come by Catmandu Friday through Sunday to meet the kitties and talk with an adoption specialist. Adoption hours are 11 am to 4 pm. Plan to arrive no later than 3 pm so you have time to spend with the cats before adoptions close at 4. Please bring a carrier in case you find your purrfect friend.
Renters must bring a copy of their lease showing they are allowed to have a cat.

Can be completed online prior to visit or completed at Catmandu at adoption visit

We will review your application, talk with you about your home and what you are looking for In a cat to see if there might be a good match

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

we will suggest several cats we think would work best for you but also allow you to meet and interact with all the cats to find your match

Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption fee is $85 for kitties under 1 year old $35 for cats over a year old

We do not adopt "sight-unseen" or ship out of state. You must visit in person to choose your new family member.

We are open to the public Friday through Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. We ask potential adopters to come no later than 3:30 pm so they can spend plenty of time with the cats before we start dinner/afternoon meds, and close at 5 pm

More about this rescue

We are a 3900 sf cage-free rescue and sanctuary that is home to approximately 100 felines at any given time. Some are super-friendly and highly adoptable, others are a little more reserved and take some time to get to know you, and then there are those that still want nothing to do with people.
The biggest little rescue in Nevada, we do big things with very few people or money.
We do not limit intake to a specific geographic area. We are the only organization that accepts adult cats from Lyon and Storey counties. We are adoption driven, with a maximum capacity of 100 felines. Every cat adopted from us frees up a space for another in-need kitty to come to Catmandu.
