Ready for a journey? You've got to meet HURRY, he is always up for an adventure!
Hurry is a swift and an agile jumper and happiest running around outside and is content to come indoors and relax afterwards. He's not overly affectionate but he does appreciate human interaction and is a loyal companion. While he has been with us, our Dog Trainer has taught him his basic commands and worked on his recall. Our Trainer looks forward to working with the successful adopters to ensure a successful transition. Potential adopters should expect to attend up to 6 (complimentary) training classes with his Trainer.
ABOUT HURRY: - He is a 45 lb, mid-sized Saluki Mix, approximately 7 years old. - A world traveller, Hurry was born in the UAE and travelled to Canada with his family. - Unfortunately his family could no longer keep him and he was surrendered to our shelter. - Good in the car - Gets along with most dogs (if his potential adopter already has a dog, we will arrange for a meet & greet under the supervision of our Trainer) - Hurry is neutered, house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinations
HURRY'S IDEAL HOME: - Live in a home with a yard with a high fence that is not climbable/jumpable - Provide him daily runs - Continual training of a recall exercise - A home with no children or other pets, at least until he settles into a routine
If you are interested in adopting him, please submit an online adoption application which can beis found on our website. If you have questions about him or our adoption process you can reach his adoption coordinator at: mgy.ehs@gmail.com. VISIT: www.etobicokehumanesociety.com to apply to adopt
