Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hampton was a rescue, found roaming the street of a small community with his 3 siblings. Mom was a semi-feral, most likely the second generation born to a friendly mother. Each litter will become more feral. We estimate his DOB as 4/19/2021. He has been admitted into our 5 phase deferalization program and is thriving! He will require a person with patience, as all human things are new and scary to him! ***PLEASE READ OUR PROCESS! **This is a slow process. We are two women and the rescues in our care are priority. Mothers and babies, plus field trapping, being on the road, fundraising to cover medical costs, handling social media, emails, calls and more....sorry, please be patient. Messages are responded to in the order in which they were received. We BEG you, don’t start multiple modes of communication. It just slows things down trying to look for the original content in order to be able to respond appropriately. We will communicate via email, as that's how the applications come through. Thanks for understanding! **The first step is to have an approved application. Our available (ready to adopt) kittens/cats are listed on Petfinder. Please fill out an application, should you wish to proceed. They are fillable on our website. **Adoption fee is $150.00 first kitten/cat and 50% for the second, includes internal/external preventatives. Kitten series vaccines, rabies and spay/neuter. We do not have a brick and mortar building, so we rely on private foster homes to house our kittens/cats that are available for adoption. Therefore there are no walk-in visits. **Sneak peek kittens (before listing on Petfinder.com) are listed on our facebook group! We try to post as much as possible for your selection purposes. **We only hold kittens (OVER 8 weeks of age/once their heath is stabilized) with a full adoption fee paid (non refundable if you cancel) otherwise, we pass up other potential adopters for a 'on hold' kitten, only to find out they changed their minds and we missed a window of opportunity. You can submit payment once your application is approved and you are given a green light to do so. **Payments can be made through Paypal as friends & family to avoid a service fee (CastAsideToSurvive@gmail.com) Cashapp $CastAsideToSurvive or our website or facebook page (use the donate button) . You would need to forward the receipt as we do not get reports of payments until the end of the month. Once they reach 3 pounds, they will be spayed/neutered and given their rabies vaccine. Our babies to not go home until spayed/neutered. We recuperate 2 days post-operatively before medically releasing them to their new FURLESS homes. Once we know when the surgery date is, we ask that you arrange a quick vet appointment per our adoption agreement, we will schedule the finalization within 4 days of vet appointment) Banister Veterinary Hospital, local to us, 845-331-1050 is very accommodating for this! ***When the adoption process is finalized in person, there is a binding contract that needs to be reviewed and signed. Our contract strongly indicates a vet appointment within four days of adoption, as we do not do diagnostic testing other than felV/Fiv. We will provide you with health records at that time. Thank you for considering adopting a once homeless FURbaby from us!November 5, 2024, 8:50 pm
