My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Wonyee. I was rescued right before being killed on a dog meat farm in Suwon, South Korea with my sister Sungyee. I’m 9 months old, very gentle, calm and a bit shy at first.

With strangers, I’m happy to meet new people but a bit shy at first. I could get treats from a stranger’s hands and warm up really quickly. You can easily pick up and lift me, that’s no problem!

I’m good with all sizes and ages of dogs. I love to play with other dogs but bit hesitant to play with dogs who is too energetic and hyper. When other shows aggression, I would tend to back up.
I have not met a cat before. (test will be done if needed)

I have a moderate energy level. I would love to play and spend time outside and am very calm at home. When walking, I follow the handler pretty well but prefer quiet areas. I’m a bit afraid of loud urban noises. Also, I would try to hide and bolt out when I hear really loud noises or any unexpected situations.

I would not guard any resources towards people but sometimes I could be a little sensitive when other dogs try to get my food. I prefer to have my alone time when eating.
I’m not a barker. Funny that I’m good in the crate but try not to go inside at first. If you give little push, I will go in the crate and stay calm. I do both indoor/outdoor potty. One thing that needs to pay attention to is I love to chew. I would chew like a puppy and it would be appreciated if you could get me a toy or bones to chew.
