My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Bowser Bo AKA 'Whiskey' is a 3yr old Jack Russell/Parson Russell Terrier Mix weighing in at approx 25-30lbs. Whiskey originally came to us a relinquish from the Humane Society a couple of years ago and sweet boy was quickly adopted. Unfortunately, his adopter is moving out of state for work and cannot find accommodation that will allow him to bring his dogs so we are looking for a new home for him.

As a JR Terrier Mix, Whiskey is a smart, fun loving boy, who is good with other dogs and loves to swim and go for rides with his owner. He can be a little reactive when on leash and does warning bark when strangers come to the door. Whiskey is looking for an active home, with owners who are looking for his breed's temperament and intelligence. Whiskey is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. If you're interested in meeting this little guy head over to his bio page on our website www.nwtlb.org and click the 'ADOPT ME' button.

More about this rescue

Wagging Tails is an all breed, non-profit rescue that places hundreds of dogs each year. We pride ourselves on our reputation of ongoing support for adopters and their new family members. We are volunteer and donation based- our main goal being to care for and give loving homes to dogs in need.

Sandy's first rescue dog, Bonnie, was a cattle dog mix that was transported to her home in the trunk of a car with 8 puppies. She found homes for the puppies and kept Bonnie. Since that day, Sandy has been helping place dogs in loving homes. No Wagging Tail Left Behind came to life when Sandy began taking in six plus dogs a week, mostly from El Centro, to find them homes.

With the help of board members Jean Whitney and Laura Morken, Wagging Tails received a non-profit status on May 12, 2015. Since then, the rescue has grown in size with volunteers who handle paperwork and attend adoption events. We look forward to increasing the number of dogs placed each year, our volunteer staff, and our donations!
