Jack and Buddy's dad died, and their mom didn't want them. Their foster mom says: "they are the sweetest, silliest boys ever, playful, good eaters, housebroken, perfect in every way!" Jack and Buddy are both around 11 years old, are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. You would never know they are 11 years old, except that Buddy is a little stiff in the mornings, but within 5 minutes he's running around and playing. They are total sweethearts and just want to give love and affection. Jack is a pomeranian/dachshund mix, weighs 20 lbs., and is a caring and loyal guy who always has a smile on his face. He is shy at first but warms up pretty quickly. Jack is very obedient and a great listener. If the home has other dogs, older and calm dogs are preferred; they are both lived with a cat in their prior home. Buddy is a corgi/dachshund mix, weighs 19 lbs., and is a sweet and funny guy who loves to cuddle. When he gets excited he likes to spin in a cute circle. He loves to meet all people and animals. He will bring a smile to your face with his quirky spirit. Buddy and Jack were adopted together from a shelter and their dad passed away last year. They find themselves needing a new forever home. They walk well on a leash and are house trained. Jack has a grade 2 out of 5 heart murmur; a grade 2 is considered a "soft murmur." Like so many senior dogs, Buddy has cataracts. He also has luxating patellas, which is very similar to a “trick knee” in humans . He recently underwent dental surgery in which he had his teeth cleaned and 9 teeth extracted. We prefer an adult-only home for them. If you live in the central Florida (Orlando) area and believe you have the perfect forever home for sweet seniors Buddy and Jack who have so much love to give, we'd like to find out more about you. Please complete our adoption application and we’ll see if you’re their perfect match.
