Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wow have I got a story to tell you! Well first let me tell you that my name is Boo Boo and I'm a wonderful lemon beagle girl! As you can see I'm still young but I have had a real rough start in life. As a puppy I was found on the streets of Ohio by one of the dog wardens. I had been thrown out of a moving car and was pretty tore up. The warden took me back to the pound and put me in a cage. That cage was big, and cold and I laid there bleeding and in SO much pain I was wishing I hadn't lived. Then a few days later I could hear the dog warden talking about me going to sleep forever..... and to be honest I started to think it was a good idea because I was hurting so badly. That's when I first met what I like to call a rescue angel. A rescue in Ohio came and took me out of that place and right to the vet! Well they patched and sewed me up and sent me home with my rescue angel. She took wonderful care of me and got me all healed and back on my feet again. Now the search was on to find a beagle rescue to take me in...........HELLO BREW!!!!! They opened their hearts to me and I couldn't be happier! Not that I didn't love my rescue angel but now I'm in a home with other beagles and it's PERFECT....well almost perfect. My foster Mom tells me that I won't be here long because soon a family will come and take me home forever........I think she's kidding but she keeps telling me it's true. Could a family really take me home and let me be there beagle baby forever?? I've got my paws crossed!!! Okay now that you know my background let me tell you a little about myself. I'm still a very young 1 1/2 years old and I love to run and play.....squeeky toys RULE in my book! My foster Mom laughs at me because I will sit and squeak one forever......hee hee. I do have one small downfall if you want to call it that......when I'm in my crate I need to have the tv or radio left on or I get really sad and cry loudly. I also need to go to a home with at least 1 other dog, as I wouldn't do well in a home being the only dog. I NEED TO GO TO A HOME WITH A FENCED YARD, that is a must because I don't like to go potty on a leash, I enjoy having a little room and privacy. Do you know what's even better than a squeaky toy....KIDS....they are just the meaning of wonderful! My foster home has 3 young children and I think the world of them!! I know, I'm going on and on but I just want you to know what a great girl I am! So while you're searching for your beagle please keep me in mind. Tail wags, Boo
Update 01/06- Boo Boo has really settled in nicely with everyone at her foster home. At first she wasn't too happy with one of the male beagles here but now he's her best bud. She really loves playing with the kids and once she sees her leash she knows exactly what that means. Time for "walkies" and she flys to the door. Speaking of the door, she has now started going by the door when she wants to go out. Hurray!!!! Boo Boo has started learning hand signs for "sit" and "lay" but her tail wags so much that it's hard for her to sit still in one spot. At least she's trying. She's a beagle that pleases and listens quite well (especially if you have a little treat in your hand) and a little snuggler too. So if you are looking for all these qualities in a new furry friend, then Boo Boo is for you.
