Hi there! My name is Milo, and I`m a sweet and shy boy in search of a new home. Don`t let my initial nervousness fool you—I may start off a bit timid, but once I feel safe and comfortable, I transform into a snuggle expert and a face-washing champion! I`ve mastered some impressive tricks too! I know how to sit, lay down, and, let`s be honest, I`ve perfected the art of looking absolutely adorable. When it comes to snuggling, well, that`s my absolute favorite thing in the world. Once I`ve built a bond with my favorite person, there`s nothing I love more than snuggling up next to them, getting cozy, and showering them with love and kisses. Prepare for some serious face-washing action because I`ve got a knack for making sure you have the cleanest cheeks around! I should mention that I prefer to be the only pet in the household. I like having all the attention to myself and being able to relax without any furry competition. Additionally, while I adore humans, I would prefer a home without young children. Their energy can sometimes overwhelm me, and I thrive in a calm and serene environment. If you`re a patient and understanding owner who can provide me with a stable and loving home, I`ll return that love with a thousand kisses a day. I just need someone who can give me the time and reassurance to overcome my shyness and build trust at my own pace. Adopt me, and let the cuddle sessions begin!
Milo is a part of our Foster-to-Adopt program. In this program we typically conduct multiple meetings with applicants to provide support and behavioral modification strategies to assist the dog with transitioning to a new home. After all parties are confident and a good match is made, the dog enters the home on a 3-week foster-to-adopt period, during which we match you with a behavior team member to help troubleshoot with any challenges that you have (usually remotely via phone/email). We know these dogs are going to be an investment to help them be their best self and we want to provide support.
