My story

Coming soon to Lorton, VA!
This handsome boy is Tom, and he is looking for his Furever family! He is a 7-month-old, 25lb,
Australian Shepherd mix. Tom was rescued with his brother, Jerry, from an overcrowded
shelter in Louisiana.  We believe he lived most of his life outside, prior to rescue.

Tom is almost house trained. He is crate trained and is learning basic commands.  He walks
very well on leash and loves to explore and meet other dogs.  Tom is good with other dogs and
love to play.  Tom is also good with children.
Tom is a super sweet boy who loves to cuddle and play! Tom is also good with cats. He is a
shy and submissive when meeting new people, but when he warms up, he wants to be in your
lap. Tom does have a slight tear in his right ear that probably won't fully close, but we think that gives him character.

Tom will be up to date on vaccines on 10/20 and will need to be neutered. Due to his shyness,
we feel he should have a fenced yard. There is a $175.00 transport fee in addition to his
adoption fee. This is the exact cost that we paid to transport Tom from Louisiana to Virginia.
