Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coming soon to Blackstone, VA!
This hunk is Jerry, and he is looking for his Furever family! He is a 7-month-old, 25lb Australian shepherd mix.
Jerry was rescued with his brother, Tom, from an overcrowded shelter in Louisiana. We believe that he lived most of his life outside, prior to rescue.
Jerry is almost house trained. He is crate trained and seems to know some basic commands.
He has gotten much better walking on leash. He doesn’t pull and after his initial excitement, he calms down and walks well. Jerry is just as happy snuggling with his head on your lap as he is playing. He does have a bit of a shoe fetish. Jerry is proving to be a very smart and sweet pup.
Jerry has gotten over his shyness and is more outgoing with people. He does have some
separation anxiety. Jerry is good with children. He is not fazed by the neighbor’s chickens but
is interested in squirrels.
Jerry will be up to date on vaccines, microchipped and neutered on 10/20. There is a $175.00 transport fee in addition to his adoption fee. This is the exact cost that we spent for professional transport from Louisianna to Virginia.
