Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rocky! This lovely boy is 8 months old and 8 pounds. He is so sweet and loving, gets along with humans, dogs and cats.
Rocky was relinquished by a family that decided they didn't want to have the responsibility of owning a dog. Since then he moved in with a wonderful foster parent that loves him; she says Rocky is very obedient and goes potty on his pee pee pad all the time, he is a good boy.
Rocky gets along with all of the other doggies in the house and also with Mia the cat.
He lives indoors, loves toys, and also socks (so if you don't want him to play with your socks, please don't leave them laying around). He sleeps in his bed and is not destructive. He eats his kibble very well and does not fight for his food. He roams the house without a problem.
Rocky can be a little cautious when he initially meets someone new, but he warms up super quickly. Once he realizes you will treat him with love and respect, he will become your number one fan, he will shower you with kisses and will want to be by your side to watch TV or to keep you company while you work from home.
His foster says he was definitely abused, he gets scared when she takes the broom to sweep the floors. He now knows that she won't hurt him and seems to get less nervous when he sees a broom.
Rocky will be the perfect companion to a family that is willing to have patience with him while he acclimates to a new environment and as he learns that he is in a safe place. It will take him just a few days (not weeks) to get adjusted. Rocky is a gem of a doggy, loving, smart and obedient; he deserves to go to a great family that knows what it means to own a pet.
