My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luz is a sweet, sassy girl who came to the Goathouse with three adorable kittens (Rocky, Ronny, and Ryan) in 2022. Now that her mothering days are behind her and her babies have all been adopted, it's Luz's turn to find that purrfect forever fam of her own. She recently had major dental work taken care of courtesy of the Goathouse veterinary team and is feeling fantastic as a result. The vets estimated Luz's DOB around May of 2018, but she definitely has the spunk and energy of a younger kitty and still loves to play when she's in the mood. Mostly she just loves a sunny perch, yummy treats, and some gentle chin rubs. Luz is not a fan of other cats so she’d be best in a single cat household, but she absolutely loves people. If you've been looking for a friendly and affectionate companion to share your home, then you simply must meet Luz!

More about this rescue

Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses up to 258 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
