My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! You're looking at me so why don't I tell you a little about myself. My name is Sandy and I'm a very cute, sweet and highly intelligent labby mix and am approximately 5.5 months young. Currently I weigh in at the perfect lap dog weight of 15 lbs and should grow to about 30lbs or so my foster mom thinks!

I was taken to a shelter in West Virginia after I was found wandering the country side all by myself, so alone and scared but now I'm here in PA and again searching, but safely this time, for my loving forever home. I currently reside with five other dogs and a cat and I love everyone. Actually, I would like to have a doggie playmate to keep me company in my forever home. I really enjoy playing ball and am learning to bring it back to my mom so she can throw it for me again and again.

I'm a very sweet lil girl that really enjoys being carried around and will give you kisses all the while. I'm quite the snuggler too so bed and furniture privileges are an absolute must. Someone wasn't very nice to me in my past so I'm a bit hand shy, but am working on getting over that so I prefer older children. Positive reinforcement classes would certainly help me gain confidence so if you would be so kind and take me, I promise I will be the smartest one in the class. I'm crate trained and go in quietly, but am still working on my potty training so you'll have to understand and be patient with me, after all, I'm just a baby.
