Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Rex is a 4 year old Pit Bull mix who was adopted in 2020. He is neutered and housebroken, but will need to be on a regular schedule to go outside to do his business. Rex is very good with kids and has spent a lot of time with babies and toddlers. He loves to play fetch and tug-o-war and likes to go for walks (he tugs on the leash but is good off-leash). Some of his favorite things are balls, balloons, and bubbles. He is neutered and had his initial vaccinations, and is waiting to get his latest vaccinations. Like any pit bull, he is very protective of his pack, but once he has been properly introduced to people, he is very loving and wants to play with his guests. Other than when he was in the shelter he has not been around other dogs, so it is unknown how he would do with them. He has not been crate trained yet, so if you plan on leaving him in one while away, he will need to become accustomed to it. Otherwise, Rex is a very loving, sweet, family-oriented dog who would love to be in a caring home with an attentive family who will play with him and give him lots of head scratches.

More about this rescue
The Pet Knot was forged to combine efforts of like-minded rescues and volunteers humbly striving to make a dent in the urgent pet over-population crisis. Our talents and strategies promote animal adoptions through online, in-store, and boutique-like options for adopters. All animals receive the highest level of medical care and grooming. Animals also receive appropriate adjustment time and basic social skills in foster homes in preparation for a new home environment. We help all animals including seniors, special needs, and those seemingly unadoptable cases and work diligently to place each in the most appropriate permanent home possible no matter how long it takes. We call ourselves The Pet Knot because not only do we connect people with pets, we keep people with pets.
The Pet Knot consists of The Pet Knot and Paw Promise animal rescue working together.
