Hello PA! My name is Carrie! I made the long trip up from Alabama and arrived Saturday morning. I have gone through a lot of change lately and am a bit unsure of things. My foster mom is still getting to know me but I’m a laid back sweet chunky girl at 67 pounds. I am 8 y/o and a bulldog mix.
I am spayed, up to date of vaccines and preventatives. My foster mom says I’m the cutest gargoyle she has ever seen and will update you all as she gets to know me better. I am good with dogs, people, kids and cat tested and approved. I also am quiet in my crate and have no accidents in the house. I am waiting in Dillsburg for my furever family to scoop me up. 
** It's a hard decision when you have to put your dogs needs above your own, but that's exactly what Carrie's original owner did when she had to enter into hospice let’s ease her mind by finding her best friend a new furever **
We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Saturday, December 10, 2022, PA Caring for K9’s will be at Faulkner Toyota in Harrisburg, PA from 10am-2pm with some of our adoptable dogs! We will also be doing photos with Santa for you and your dogs. Please check our Facebook page closer to the event as we will update daily with dogs who will be attending. All are invited to meet our dogs, but only pre-approved adopters with all household humans and dogs present will be able to adopt at the event.
