***Queenie is available 'Foster-to-Adopt' until all necessary surgeries are complete***
Queenie is from a small shelter in N. Texas. She came to us full of rot and infection. Mammary tumors and life threatening pyometra. She needed immediate surgery. She had emergency spay surgery and due to the horrible condition her mouth was in, she needed 17 extractions. During her dental, it was discovered her JAWBONE was exposed.
Our surgeon skillfully removed the infected uterus, repaired her gums, removed the bad teeth, put her on medication and pain management. She is on soft foods for at least a month. She will need to go back for more mammary tumor removal as well as more teeth. **She is recovering very well. She is a happy, energetic girl with a big personality. She loves to cuddle and go for walks but she is still learning how to leash walk properly. Minds very well. Not a barker but she is vocal/talker if she needs to potty, is hungry, or wants to go with you. Seems to love all humans and animals except the neighbors dog on the other side of the fence lol. She is really a sweetheart and would make a great companion.
