Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This adorable and uniquely colored boy is "Dante" He aand his siblings were found dumped in a field in Texas. Because nothing is known about their past, we can only guess at their breed make-up. Currently the puppies are estimated at 4.5 months old and range between 15-20lbs. Full size they will likely be 35-45lbs. They are a mixed breed with features that might indicate Shepherd, Kelpie, Min PIn, Border Collie and Cattle Dog. All are people and dog friendly. Cats we are not sure about but suspect they would do fine.
Dante is one of the smaller pups in the litter and is very uniquely colored with brindle in his coat. He is an active boy who loves to play. He also loves a good snuggle. Dante is a little nervous of new people at first but getting better there and warms up quick - especially for a treat! He is crate trained and has had no accidents in his foster home. His foster mom does work from home and can let him out every few hours so a similar set up in his new home would be ideal. Dante is not fully leash trained (working on it and doing well) so a contained yard is preferred for her. Kids 5 and up best.
If you think Dante could be a great fit for you, please send an inquiry through AdoptAPet or email us at compassdogrescue@gmail.com to start the application process. Dante is vaccinated for rabies, distemper, parvo, bordetella and leptosporosis. He is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention and microchipped. He is too young to neuter (done at 6 months) so that would be the adopter's responsibility. We have a reduced adoption fee for the pups which takes that into consideration!
