My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet handsome "Scout"! Scout is a mixed breed with what looks like maybe some Golden Retriever and/or Collie influence. He is approximately 7 years old and 30lbs. Scout is people friendly but dog selective. He prefers laid back dogs like him - nobody too spazzy, hyper or barky. He has met several dogs in his foster home with a similar personality type to himself and done fine :)

Scout is people friendly and full of tail wags and affection. He has been in a home with small children and done well, but since he is a little older, we think a quieter home, either child free or with kids 10 and up ideal for him. We are also requiring a physically fenced in yard.

Scout is house and crate trained and knows some basic commands. He is a good traveler in the car and ok on leash - although he can pull slightly if a "critter" is in sight. Scout enjoys playing with his toys and doing zoomies in the yard. He is pretty active and playful for a dog his age. He also enjoys snuggle time, belly rubs and will return those pleasant things with thankful kisses!
