Meet Kai, a sweet 15 year old, 8 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Canton, IL.

8/14/22 Update: Kai is doing well. His two foster brothers are are about 12 pounds each & Kai is about 8 pounds but he doesn't know it. He thinks he is just as big as they are and he can get a bit bossy at times. He came from a one dog household but he has made himself right at home. He enjoys plenty of power naps & really loves treats. He is pretty spry for a 15 year old with bad back knees. I'm sure he would be happy to be the center of attention in a forever home.

7/7/22 Initial Bio: Kai is a 15 year old 8lb Yorkie. He is an owner surrender. His owner had many health issues and was no longer able to care for him. He is a funny little old man. He walks a little stiff legged as his knees seem to wobble a bit. Has that little old man walk. His favorite things seem to be eating and sleeping. He is a bit food aggressive. As long as he is kept separate there are no issues but if he finishes his food first he tries to take over the other dogs food bowls. Other than that he seems to be fine with the other dogs. He likes humans a lot. He doesnt seem to worry about squirrels or rabbits in the yard. He's a pretty calm little fellow.
