SKYLAR is a sweet, gentle and amazing pup with a great personality. He was shaved down due to matting but his soft fur is coming back in. He doesn't shed. He's mostly potty trained but needs to be taken out often. Because SKYLAR came from such a difficult background, he can be scared of loud noises and takes a while to warm up to people. So far, he will give you kisses but is not a cuddler yet. He's ok walking on the leash but loves being outside running and playing. He loves his toys, finding sticks and playing fetch with tennis balls. SKYLAR has a lot of puppy energy but sleeps through the night in his Extra Large crate - it is his safe place. He enjoys other dogs and may like to live with one as he has been very sweet with dogs he has met. SKYLAR needs a family who will give him time to get comfortable and who has plenty of time to spend with him. He's shown some signs of separation anxiety so a family that works from home would be best for him. His fosters say he is an "awesome puppy"!
SKYLAR needs his own large fenced yard to run and play in. No apartments.
