My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Riley and I really need to find a new home! I'm 8 years old, weighing 46lbs and I've been told that I'm a pretty good-looking guy. I've lived with my human family since I was 7 weeks old. They say that I'm really good with humans, but I need some work on my behavior with other dogs.
You see I've developed some food aggression problems towards my dog-brother, Shane. My human mom really loves me, but she knows that I'd be much better off as an "only child". I do live with 4 cats and I love to chase them, but I have never growled at them or tried to hurt them. I do enjoy my couch time, but I also love to play--especially with all my stuffed animal toys. I don't really like to stay outside by myself unless my human friends are there too...I really just want to be wherever they are!
I have a couple of bad habits, like taking food off counters and getting into the garbage. I know I'm not supposed to, but I just can't help it (it just smells so good)!! I've also been known to open certain types of doors and let myself out, including my crate. I need a little work on my obedience, so I guess I need a family who is ready for a little challenge, but I'm really worth the effort I promise! I love to snuggle, have my belly scratched, and I can be a real “love bug”.....
