My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Carlton and I aced my training 'cuz I'm a good learner. I'm also a good snuggler and will sit in your lap, give you kisses and tell you I love you. I'm so ready to bond, maybe too ready -- I sometimes get anxious when people leave and worry they're not coming back, but I'm trying to be patient because I know sometimes you need your space. Hey, you wanna go play?! I love long walks, chasing tennis balls and playing tug with a rope toy. I’ll share toys or treats with another dog and I’m calm in the salon for baths and nail-clipping. I’m not too sure about a wading pool cuz it looks like a giant water bowl and I’ll drink from it, or lie down to cool off. I have to tell you something. When other dogs get in my face and space too quickly, it scares me so I really need to be the only dog, for now. But I’ll make an exception for a really friendly dog who likes to play. Hopefully, people will tell me I'm awesome and help me with my confidence. I'm getting there, tho -- the fun people at the board-n-train have been really great but I gotta get outta here and move on to my furever home. Okay, so I'm 2-4 yrs old, fluffy, blond, looking for a committed, long-term relationship only. What’s not to like? A stay-at-home person or 2, with a yard would be perfect for me, but I can adapt. Let's meet and see where we go!
