Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This poor baby was out stray as a puppy, living in a patch of woods, too scared to come to anyone. We suspect she was out for a while because she had the worst case of an embedded collar we had ever seen. The pain the open, infected wound was causing her must have been unbearable, and we knew we had to catch her quickly and get her help.
Once trapped, we could tell Tater Tot was very shy, but she warmed up quickly to the veterinary staff who did an amazing job of helping her.
This sweet young girl loves to play with her doggie friends and would be happiest with another dog companion in the home. She is a lower to medium energy level but has no problem keeping up with her higher energy pals. She also is very affectionate with people once she gets to know them.
Our dogs require a securely fenced yard. The fence must be at least 4 feet tall (48 inches) and must attach to or surround the building where the dog will be housed so that the dog has direct access to the safely contained space. Invisible and electric fences do not meet the requirements of a fenced yard.
Tater Tot is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. If you are interested in adopting Tater, please complete the online application here (copy and paste into your browser):
