My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** FIV POSITIVE **

My “friends” and I are a transplant from another rescue in Mississauga that was shutting down. I was one of the few that arrived with a “feral” label. I made it extremely clear, extremely fast, that was bogus. Okay, yes I was a little nervous at first, but I’ve been through a lot okay! I never hissed let alone try to attack - I don’t even have teeth! I’m an extremely food motivated boy and my one true love in the entire world is wet food. Even just the sound of you touching a can will send me running over. I’m not picky at all, just give me more! I don’t eat dry food or crunchy treats at all (I do make exceptions for human food). I can be very affectionate once I get to know you and realize you supply the goods. I enjoy head scratches and booty rubs. I can semi-tolerate being picked up but it still makes me nervous. I get along well with all the cats and have made many friends since arriving! I wouldn’t mind going home with one of my friends, meeting a new friend at your place, or having it be just me - just make sure you got your cans ready!Applications are reviewed in order received until an appropriate match is made.

More about this rescue

We take in cats that are abandoned or born in colonies that animal control for the area does not wish to accept or keep. We also take cats that other rescues cannot place (due to location, age, colour, or quantity). We will take owner surrenders if other options are unwilling to take. In short, we take in cats that have few to no other options.
