Ian’s background is a mystery. He was humanely trapped in a barn that had been providing shelter for homeless cats. We don’t know how Ian ended up in the barn, or exactly how old he is, but what we do know is that he is a very affectionate fellow who loves human companionship. Although he is a sweet boy that loves affection, he will need lots of time and patience to get used to his new home. His new family must be ready to help him adjust until he becomes his true self.
Ian adores having an up-close and personal relationship with people—literally! He will snuggle up beside you when you are sitting on the couch, on a chair, or in bed.
For fun, Ian enjoys chasing da Bird cat toy and his chill time is spent just sitting looking out the window. He is an engaging conversationalist (particularly when he wants attention), and, like most cats, he is very fond of treats.
Ian is an easy-going, laid-back cat that will do best with a calm family that will give him the companionship he so craves. Ian would be OK with older, cat-savvy kids , NO young, inexperienced kids , as he can play rough sometimes and may use his teeth to play. In turn, he will give you his adulation and lots and lots of purrs!
Ian has not been exposed to dogs and does not really care for other cats. Though he would be OK with another friendly cat in the home, he would be happiest as a single pet so he can have all the love to himself!
