Donny has been on the search for love for 7 months because if he's got love he's living the good life! Donny came up from Georgia with his sister Marie after they were found as strays.

He is a 30 lb, 7 month old, hound mix. Donny is a laid back puppy that loves being outside! He needs a patient family who can help him gain his confidence. Young children not recommended at this time only because of their quick movements.

Donny is dog friendly but cats are unknown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and potty/crate trained. Donny is still working on walking on a leash and is being fostered in York, PA

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Saturday, October 22, 2022, PA Caring for K9’s will be at Puppy Love Dog Grooming in Middletown, PA from 10am-2pm with some of our adoptable dogs! Please check our Facebook page closer to the event as we will update daily with dogs who will be attending. All are invited to meet our dogs, but only pre-approved adopters with all household humans and dogs present will be able to adopt at the event.
