My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/
We must have an application to move forward.

Currently being fostered in Olympia, WA.

FOSTER'S COMMENTS: Amiga is a very playful, active puppy. She loves to run around the yard, chase after balls and entice her older foster dog brother to play with her. She has a sweet, happy temperament with a tendency to jump up when she gets excited. We are working on keeping all four paws on the ground! She is not shy, but is submissive. She is social and likes to be near her people. She loves pets, belly rubs and attention, but is content to nap in a dog bed throughout the day. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is potty trained. Amiga is a high energy pup that will thrive with training and exercise; she is eager to please and will learn quickly.

PETCENTRALSATX's Comments about...
AMIGA is a very happy puppy...on the small side, slender, very shiny black...such a beautiful pup. She will get to be about 25-30#s...best guess. The best guess DOB is 4/21/22. This beautiful pup just needs someone to love her. She wants all sorts of attention. She will have the energy for an active couple or a full family. She needs lots of exercise. I do not recommend her for an apartment. She is house trained. She is still small enough to be able to pick her up and carry (about 16#s) right now.

Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.

All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.

HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/

This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose.

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
