Meet Daisy!

This adorable senior girl found herself at the shelter when her owner developed health issues and could no longer care for her. Her previous owner treated her like a queen, so the shock of the shelter hit her harder than most.

Daisy is very sweet and easy going senior, that gets along with the other low-key dogs in her foster home. She loves her "bedroom" and will happily sleep in her crate. Daisy is housebroken but may take some time to get used to a new home/schedule. We don't know if Daisy has been exposed to cats, but her calm demeanor makes us believe she would likely do fine. Daisy is currently on medication for her thyroid and now that her hyperthyroidism is under control, she feels like a new dog! She loves dinner time, maybe a little too much. The vet said she could afford to lose a few extra pounds, so someone willing to take her on short walks is ideal.

Adoption Fee: $200.00 (plus tax for KY residents)

Adoption Process:

Step 1:
Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Adopters must live within 100 miles of Florence, KY.

Step 2:
PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable)

Step 3:
IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet.

Step 4:
If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.
