Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, my name is Bellamy and I am a stinkin’ cute Terrier mix, almost 5 months old, and about 6 lbs, so I’m a shrimp. My ears are one of my more adorable features… one up, one down, and my personality puts my awesomeness over the top. I am a spunky boy that loves everyone. I am truly happiest being a lap dog and being carried, and sometimes I will just wait patiently for you to pick me up but sometimes I take matters into my own paws and I will jump up so you can catch me in your arms. I love to play with all my doggy friends and I love squeaky toys. I am very affectionate, I’m quiet and I would classify myself as medium energy, not hyper, and not boring. I’m perfect! Why am I available? That’s the million-dollar question. I was found at an animal shelter in Del Rio Texas and my time was up, meaning they were going to euthanize me the following day. Thankfully, a 4 Little Paws Rescue representative spotted me and saved me from that terrible fate. That nice lady became my foster mom for a while and she says although I was timid at first, I have a wonderful temperament and was happy and playful in no time at all. Since then I have come to San Antonio where I am staying at an uber nice doggy care facility with other rescue dogs waiting our turn to move to Connecticut so we can find forever families in the Northeast. I will be leaving Texas next week I am happy to say and when I arrive at my final destination I will be hoping to see you there. Our eyes will meet and it will be love at first sight, Im sure of it!
* We receive an overwhelming amount of applications. If we do not respond immediately, it does not mean your application or inquiry is denied. The dog you have applied for may already be adopted or in the process of being adopted. We encourage you to email us your #1, #2, and #3 choice, and we will be happy to help you find a pup to complete your family! Also, please continue watching our listings as we post new dogs multiple times a week. There is no need to fill out another application, just let us know what other dogs you are interested in as they come up.
