My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tony is a very shy but very sweet boy. He prefers the company of other dogs as he came from a hoarding situation. He loves walks, treats, is a champion eater, and is house trained. He’s very quiet but very observant. As you can see, he’s got the prettiest eyes and would love to join your family. Won’t you give this timid boy a chance to be a pet companion?

My husband and I have been fostering Tony for three weeks, and he has come such a long way from the day we brought him home. He is still frightened, especially of doorways, fast movements, and being touched, but he makes great strides every single day. Some of his favorite things to do are to run and play with our dog. It took a week for him to figure it out, but once he got the hang of it, we can hardly get him inside because he is having so much fun being a dog. He also enjoys stealing toys and treats and taking them all to his bed and hoarding them. He gets along well with both dogs, is making friends with the cats, and isn’t interested a bit in chasing the chickens. He looks deep into your eyes with his beautiful blue eyes and wants to be a regular dog, and he is becoming that every day. An ideal home for him would be with another dog he can run and play with, he seems to gain confidence being around her.
