April is a typical Chihuahua in that she is fearful when first meeting anyone and is a bit nippy. Once she is sure that you have no evil intentions, she will be in your arms all the time. Her first mom died 2 years ago from cancer and her current mom has the same cancer and has asked Rainbow to find little April a loving, furever home. April is learning not to be afraid of the outdoors. As a little squirt you can imagine how it looks outside especially since she was rarely outside. She is learning to go for walks with her foster mom, who is our little dog specialist. She needs to be in a quiet home with no small children as they make her nervous. We are not sure how she is with cats and seems to be okay with other dogs. She is easily won over with certain treats.
