Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This girl is an absolute sweetheart! She is definitely a Velco-dog and wants to be by her human most of the time, even if she's just lying next to you while you work. She’s just a baby herself at a year and a half old and still acts like a playful puppy, especially if you give her a tennis ball or frisbee! Opal is very cuddy and loves to give kisses. While she will let you know she's hungry with an adorable howl, she’s very polite when taking food from your hand and sits patiently when waiting for you to share your snacks.
Opal is a rowdy player and an excited jumper, so we are strongly suggesting a home with children ages 12+ and a strong human leader to continue working with her on her manners. She is a goofy girl and can be a bit of a bull in a China shop at times!
We will consider all applicants, but we believe she’d thrive in an only-dog home with strong human leadership.
Opal’s adoption fee was fully sponsored by a generous donor ($0)!!! Please submit an application at lexpitcrew.org and we will be in touch ASAP!
A meet and greet with an applicant's current pets would be required.
