Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Pancake is as sweet as a real pancake. He is so gentle, loving and cuddly. He loves to play with his sibling Maple. He’ll run and jump, and chase her all over the house. Pancake plays with as many toys as possible; balls, wand toys, tunnels and laser pointer. He is very curious and independent. He will not beg for attention but loves when humans spend time with him. His favorite place to sleep is in bed with his foster mom.
At only five weeks old, this litter of six (Waffle, Syrup, Karo, Pancake, Biscuit, and Maple) was abandoned in 95-degree heat on a levee in southern Illinois. A good Samaritan found them, picked them up and cared for them until transport volunteers drove them up to PPAH in Chicago. These kittens have an estimated birth date of 5/12/22.
We prefer to have Pancake adopted with his perfect partner in crime, his sibling Maple. They are both fine with children and adults. They have not been exposed to dogs, but would likely be ok with them with a proper introduction.
All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
